Are your rugs made in New Zealand?
Yes, all Ascend rugs are made in Rolleston, New Zealand where our factory & design studio are located.

Do you use New Zealand wool?
Yes, we use the best-quality NZ merino and crossbred wool. Our felted yarns are also locally sourced and produced.

Where do you ship to and how much does it cost?
We ship worldwide and offer door-to-door delivery. The shipping costs depend on the size of the rug and your location. Your rug quote will include the cost of the rug as well as the shipping cost with duties paid.

Are all rugs exported to the US?
90% of Ascend rugs are exported to the US, however we also have a presence in the New Zealand market, especially with our sister company Cronz.
The New Zealand customers are more than welcome to visit our showroom in Rolleston to see/order both Ascend and Cronz products. -
Where can I see your rugs in the US? Do you have agents in the US?
We have several agents across the USA who have a range of Ascend samples and know the products well. Get in touch with us and we will be happy to connect you with your nearby agent.

What is my investment range on an Ascend rug?
Ascend rugs are tufted high-end products, using the premium NZ merino wool and bespoke method of manufacturing. The price ranges between USD 40 and 60 / sq ft, including freight. Pricing is influenced by the size, type of yarn, number of colors, finish, and pattern (if any) so it is best to ask us for a custom quote.

Can I request a sample? Is there a charge?
Samples that we have in stock are available to you free of charge, but the freight is chargeable. A custom-made sample costs USD 150 including freight.

What is your production lead time?
The production lead time is 10-12 weeks from your order confirmation and 50% deposit payment.

What size can my rug be made in?
You are not limited to specific sizes or shapes. We make your rug to the size and shape of your specifications.

How do you edge your rugs?
We use the ‘folded edge’ technique where the primary backing is folded over the side to form a clean, invisible edge, and then the rug is finished with tape (black/white cotton or natural jute) at the back. We don’t do serging or overlocked edging.

How do I care for my rug?
Ascend wool rugs are durable products that are easy to clean. No special cleaning procedures are required. For more specific cleaning instructions in case of spills, please refer to our Rug Care page.

Can any of your rug styles be made as a wall-to-wall, broadloom carpet?
Yes, due to our bespoke manufacturing, we can make any style as a wall-to-wall carpet to your specifications.
